Emeritus Prof. Dr. Udo Brinkman wins American Chemical Society Award 2009 in Chromatography

Emeritus Prof. Dr. Udo Brinkman from the Division of Biomolecular Analysis and Spectroscopy has won the American Chemical Society Award 2009 in Chromatography.

Prof. Brinkman will be honored at the Awards Ceremony in March 2010, in conjunction with the 239th ACS National Meeting in San Francisco. Prof. Brinkman is an eminent analytical chemist with a long-standing track record in the field of chromatography, particularly in the development of hyphenated analytical techniques. In his active career he published over 700 scientific articles; he was editor of the Journal of Chromatography and member of the editorial board of several important journals in the field. The Department of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences congratulates Prof. Brinkman with this prestigious award.
